Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This policy explains what information is handled when you use webcraft (from here on, “the site”), a game that runs entirely in your browser. It is written to be understood: if anything is unclear, write to [EMAIL_DE_CONTACTO].

1. Who is responsible

webcraft is an independent project that does not claim to represent any video game company. The data controller is the person who maintains the site, and their only contact channel is [EMAIL_DE_CONTACTO].

2. Your worlds and settings never leave your device

The site has no user accounts and no player database. Everything you create is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage, IndexedDB and the browser file system), on your own device:

None of it is sent to any server of ours, because there is no server of ours: the site is a set of static files. If you clear the site's browsing data, that information is gone for good and we cannot get it back.

3. Technical hosting data

The site is hosted with a static hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages). Like any web server, it logs technical details of the requests it receives — IP address, date, browser type — for security and operational purposes. Those logs are handled by the hosting provider under its own privacy policy; we do not build profiles from them.

4. Multiplayer and server connections

5. Cookies and third-party advertising

The site is free and pays for itself with advertising. The ad network that serves the ads is [NOMBRE_DE_LA_RED], and it may, on its own account, use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies in order to:

That data is collected and processed directly by the ad network as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy. The site sets no tracking cookies of its own and does not share the worlds or settings stored in your browser with advertisers.

Consent in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Before personalized ads are served you are shown a notice where you can accept or decline. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time from the privacy preferences link in that same notice. Declining does not leave you without a game: you will simply see non-personalized ads.

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Bear in mind that advertising cookies are set by the ad network and not by us, so the most direct way to manage them is through your browser settings and whatever tools [NOMBRE_DE_LA_RED] offers.

6. Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children of that age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child in your care has provided personal data, write to us at [EMAIL_DE_CONTACTO] and we will sort it out.

7. Your rights

If the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or an equivalent law applies to you, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection in relation to the processing of your personal data, as well as to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you believe we have not dealt with your request properly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

8. Changes to this policy

If the ad network changes, or the way data is handled changes, this page and its “last updated” date will be updated. We recommend looking it over from time to time.

9. Contact

Questions, complaints or requests: [EMAIL_DE_CONTACTO].
